ActOne ArtsBase runs vibrant all-ability dance, theatre and arts projects all over Hertfordshire and the surrounding area.

We work in inclusive spaces where everybody feels valued. We create inspiring performances of dance and drama with people from all backgrounds, whatever their abilities.

Our goal is to make the performing arts accessible to all, regardless of disability or circumstance. Using this approach, we break down prejudice and barriers to participation for hundreds of young people.

ActOne has a new Development Director!

ActOne is delighted to announce that Kay Wells will be joining the ActOne team as our Development Director, a post funded by Arts Council England. Kay’s main targets will be to establish a sound working administration base enabling us to plan and schedule long term, to retain key staff, widen our scope of activities and meet a growing demand for our work. Kay is keen to hear feedback from everyone involved with ActOne so you will no doubt hear from her soon.

Working with ActOne ArtsBase gives me the chance to learn more about myself and those around me, to grow in areas that I am weak and above all to have a lot of fun!
